This dataset contains the Democratic Labour Party of Lithuania (LDDP) statutes.

The Democratic Labour Party of Lithuania (LDDP) was a Lithuanian political party that has been active from 1989 to 2001.

The party’s predecessor – the Communist Party of Lithuania (LKP) – was a historic Lithuanian political party, which was established in 1918 and from the very beginning pursued anti-state activities. Consequently, one year after the restoration of the Lithuanian state in 1918, the party’s activities were banned in 1919. In 1940, when Lithuania was occupied by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the LKP became a constituent part of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (SSKP) – an instrument for administering the occupied territory of Lithuania. As the occupation regime eased, in December 19–23, 1989, during its congress, the LKP separated from the SSKP and established an independent LKP. This led to a party split, as some members refused to leave the SSKP and founded the Communist Party of Lithuania (on platform of Communist Party of the Soviet Union) (LKP (SSKP)). In December 8–9, 1990, during its congress, the LKP was renamed the Democratic Labour Party of Lithuania (LDDP). On January 27, 2001, the LDDP merged with the Social Democratic Party of Lithuania (LSDP).
