European Social Survey

<p> Dataverse collection "European Social Survey" contains survey data of the European Social Survey (ESS) conducted in Lithuania from 2009 (Round 4). </p> <p> The ESS is an academically driven cross-national survey that has been conducted across Europe since its establishment in 2001. Every two years, face-to-face interviews are conducted with newly selected, cross-sectional samples. The survey measures the attitudes, beliefs and behaviour patterns of diverse populations in more than thirty nations. </p>

Šiame duomenų rinkinyje pateikiami Europos socialinio tyrimo 4 bangos vykdytos Lietuvoje atrankos dizaino duomenys. Duomenų rinkinį sudarė tyrimą vykdžiusi organizacija UAB "Baltijos tyrimai", o jį sutvarkė EST Nacionalinis koordinatorius Lietuvoje ir Lietuvos HSM duomenų archyvo (LiDA) darbuotojai. <br><br> Jis skirtas duomenų svėrimui ir duomenų stratifikacijos bei klasterizacijos poveikio įvertinimui. Šie duomenys turi būti naudojami atliekant korektišką EST 4 bangos duomenų analizę (skaičiuojant korektiškus statistikų įverčius ir jų paklaidas).

The European Social Survey has been conducted every two years since 2002. It has been conducted in Lithuania since the 4th wave (2008).

Intentional or unintentional disregard for this obligation may incur liability under applicable data protection laws. </p>

Publikacijose, parengtose LiDA saugomų duomenų išteklių pagrindu, turi būti nuoroda į LiDA išnašose ar literatūros sąraše į naudojamus išteklius. Šiuo reikalavimu siekiama, kad nuoroda į LiDA patektų į socialinių mokslų citavimo indeksus. <hr> Publications based on the data or other resources curated by the LiDA should acknowledge this by a reference to LiDA. To ensure that such attributions are captured by social science bibliographic utilities, citations must appear in the footnotes or in the reference section of publications.
