Major investigated questions: respondents were asked to indicate the percentage of time spent on work in higher education, research, administrative work, teaching and promotion of academic and R&D activities. They were asked whether they had taught undergraduate and/or integrated degree students in the last 3 years. Those faculty who have taught were asked to indicate what the most important components are in preparing applicants for undergraduate and/or integrated studies, and they were asked to rate their students' readiness for these studies accordingly. The readiness of first year master's students and the subjects taught by the respondents were assessed. After a block of questions, the characteristics of first year master's students were assessed that are necessary for study. It was asked whether respondent works with students whose motivation was assessed when they entered the master's program and whether the assessed motivation helped in selecting the most motivated students.
