The Labour Party (DP) is a Lithuanian political party active since 2003.

This party has been established on October 18, 2003. On May 14, 2006, the split of the DP occurred, when the Civic Democratic Party was established. On July 9, 2011, the DP merged with the New Union (Social Liberals) (NS(SL)). During the judicial examination of the criminal case concerning the non-transparent accounting practices of DP as a legal entity, on April 24, 2013, DP merged with the Labourist Party into a new legal entity – the Labour Party (Labourists), while DP, as a legal entity, ceased its activities. On October 26, 2013, a unification congress of the Labour Party (Labourists) and the Christian Party took place. The old name – Labour Party – was restored to the new party.
