Major investigated questions: \nrespondents were asked whether they are interested in Lithuania's accession to the EU and if not interested why they are not interested in this topic. Respondents were also asked to indicate the people who occupy the key positions in listed Lithuanian and foreign institutions. They were also asked whether the information about conditions of Lithuania's accession to the EU is sufficient and whether, during the last 4 weeks, they watched TV, listened to radio, read newspaper in which Lithuania's accession to the EU conditions which was discussed, also whether they discussed this topic themselves. Respondents were asked to assess the information about the EU provided by listed means of Lithuanian mass communication, according to certain characteristics. They were also asked about the people of whom knowledge about Lithuania's accession to the EU are trusted most. Respondents were asked whether they know about the creation of European information centers in Lithuania, and whether they or their family members or friends visited these centers. Respondents were asked whether their attitudes to Lithuania's accession to the EU have changed during the past 6 months. Respondents also indicated which country's accession to the EU they would like and if on the next day a referendum on Lithuania's accession to the EU would be held would they take part in it and how would they vote. Respondents answered a question how they would vote if Lithuania joined the EU much later. Respondents also had to specify in what areas of the country the situation would change if Lithuania joined the EU and also answer a question whether they are supporters or opponents of accession to the EU. Respondents were asked what would be the consequences for the country and its citizens and how it would influence the country's economic and political situation in the next five years, if Lithuania did not join the EU. Respondents were also asked what they would like to learn more about Lithuania's accession to the EU. Respondents were asked how the future governing of the EU should be organized and how and what they learned about the EU support for Lithuania. Respondents were also asked how they assess the support to Lithuanian and the other candidate countries' agriculture, proposed by the EU, which would constitute 25 per cent of the amount allocated for agriculture of current members of the EU. Respondents were asked how they evaluate the circumstances of themselves and their family and how their lives have changed during the past 2 years and how their lives would change if Lithuania joined the EU. They were also asked whether they felt anxiety about the situation of themselves or their family if Lithuania joined the EU and why do they feel the anxiety. Respondents were asked for which party they would vote in the Seimas elections if these elections take place next Sunday.\n

Aiškintasi, ar respondentai gali nurodyti, kokie žmonės užima svarbiausias pareigas išvardintose Lietuvos ir užsienio institucijose. Tirta, ar respondentams pakanka informacijos apie Lietuvos stojimą į ES. Buvo pateikti klausimai, ar per pastarąsias 4 savaites respondentai žiūrėjo TV laidą, klausėsi radijo laidos, skaitė ką nors, kur būtų svarstomos Lietuvos stojimo į ES sąlygos. Taip pat klausta, ar respondentai kalbėjosi (diskutavo) stojimo į ES tema. Respondentų prašyta įvertinti žiniasklaidoje teikiamą informaciją apie ES pagal respondentams nurodytas charakteristikas. Aiškintasi, kaip elgiasi respondentai radę spaudoje straipsnius apie ES ar derybas dėl stojimo. Buvo užduoti klausimai, kaip respondentai vertina pateikiamą informaciją apie Lietuvos stojimą į ES išvardintose Lietuvos masinėse informacijos priemonės. Aiškintasi, kokių žmonių pateikiamomis žiniomis apie stojimą į ES respondentai labiausiai pasitiki. Respondentų klausta, ar jie žino, kad Lietuvoje yra įkurti Europos informacijos centrai bei norėta sužinoti, ar respondentams ar jų šeimos nariams, draugams teko lankytis šiuose centruose. Buvo užduotas klausimas, kaip per pastaruosius 6 mėnesius pasikeitė respondentų nuomonė dėl stojimo į ES. Taip pat respondentai nurodė, kurių šalių priėmimo į ES jie norėtų. Klausta, jeigu vyktų referendumas dėl Lietuvos įstojimo į ES, ar respondentai tikrai ateitų balsuoti bei norėta sužinoti, kaip respondentai balsuotų. Aiškintasi, ar respondentų apsisprendimas yra tvirtas, kaip balsuoti referendume. Buvo pateiktas klausimas, jeigu Lietuva stotų į ES žymiai vėliau, kaip tada respondentai balsuotų. Taip pat respondentai turėjo galimybę nurodyti, kokiose srityse situacija šalyje pasikeistų, jeigu Lietuva įstotų į ES. Tirta nuomonė, kodėl respondentai yra stojimo į ES šalininkai arba priešininkai. Norėta sužinoti, kokias pasekmes, respondentų nuomone, patirtų Lietuva ir jos piliečiai neįstojus į ES. Taip pat respondentų prašyta įvertinti, kaip susiklostytų Lietuvos ekonominė ir politinė situacija artimiausių 5 metų laikotarpiu, jei Lietuva dėl piliečių apsisprendimo neįstotų į ES. Klausta nuomonės, ką daugiau respondentai norėtų sužinoti apie stojimą į šią tarptautinę organizaciją. Aiškintasi, kaip Lietuva turėtų elgtis, tapusi ES nare bei kaip turėtų būti organizuojamas ES valdymas ateityje. Buvo pateikti klausimai, ką respondentai žino ir iš kur sužinojo apie ES paramą Lietuvai. Respondentai vertino ES siūlomą Lietuvos ir kitų šalių kandidačių žemės ūkiui paramą, kuri sudarytų 25 proc. sumos, skiriamos dabartinių ES šalių žemės ūkiui. Klausta, kaip respondentai vertina savo, savo šeimos materialinę padėtį bei kaip per pastaruosius 2 metus keitėsi jų gyvenimas. Tirta, kaip pasikeistų respondentų gyvenimas, jei Lietuva įstotų į ES. Buvo užduotas klausimas, ar respondentai jaučia baimę (nerimą) dėl savo (savo šeimos) padėties Lietuvai įstojus į ES. Norėta išsiaiškinti, kodėl jaučiama baimė (nerimas). Respondentų taip pat prašyta atsakyti, už kurią partiją jie balsuotų rinkimuose į Seimą, jeigu rinkimai vyktų kitą sekmadienį. \n
