Post-Election Survey, June 2009https://hdl.handle.net/21.12137/RE953NRamonaitė, AinėŽiliukaitė, RūtaLithuanian Data Archive for SSH (LiDA)2023-05-122025-08-22T12:56:53Z<b><i>The purpose of the study</i></b>: to estimate Lithuanian residents political provisions and tendencies of electoral behaviour in 2009 elections of President of the Republic of Lithuania and European Parliament. <br> <b><i>Major investigated questions</i></b>: respondents were asked for which party's list they voted in 2009 European Parliament elections and for who they voted in Presidential elections which were held in the same year. It was analysed for which party's list respondents voted in 2008 Seimas elections. Respondents were asked to indicate how much they trust in listed politicians, journalists and other famous public figures who influences society's opinion. Respondents attitude towards benefit of political parties to democracy was assessed. It was questioned if respondents sympathise to any political party.
