Abstract: |
<p>This dataset contains the data from interviews conducted in 2024–2025 with Lithuanian diaspora activists representing Lithuanian communities in Europe. The study aimed to identify the factors that determine the sustainability of Lithuanian identity among the descendants of Lithuanian emigrants in their countries of immigration. <p>The dataset includes interviews with representatives from the following communities:</p> <ol> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Ireland</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Belgium</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Denmark</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Iceland</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Spain</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Italy</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Israel</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in the United Kingdom</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Cyprus</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Latvia</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Poland</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Luxembourg</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in the Netherlands</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Norway</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in France</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Sweden</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Switzerland</li> <li>The Lithuanian Community in Germany.</li> </ol> <b>To use this dataset, the user must obtain PERMISSION from the leader of the project "Demographic, economic, energetic, food, and epidemiological resilience of modern Lithuanian society and nation (1883-2023)" Professor Zenonas Norkus.</b> To ask for permission, write to <a href="mailto:data@ktu.lt">data@ktu.lt</a>. |
