Major investigated questions: Respondents were asked to evaluate the work of public security institutions (Police Department; State Border Guard Service; Financial Crime Investigation Service; Fire and Rescue Department; VIP Security Department); the impact of qualification of officers, work organisation, employees work conditions and new technologies on the activity of these institutions. Respondents were also asked about sufficiency / insufficiency of information on organisation of work of these public security institutions: objectives and functions, work time, contacts, inquiry phone numbers etc. Respondents gave assessment of extent of threat of criminality, corruption in law enforcement institutions, financial crimes, terror acts to public security and struggle of public security institutions against the above threats; work of specialists for liquidation of mass riots; personal feeling of security. Socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, education, occupation, nationality, monthly income per one family member, place of residence, region. The survey data were collected at the request of the Commission for the Implementation of the National Action Plan for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights in the Republic of Lithuania under the Human Rights Committee of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.SPSS, 29The series "Survey Data > Human Rights" contains survey data that allow to study Lithuanian public opinion about the state of the human rights protection system, the ways in which people defend their rights when violated, and their evaluations of the effectiveness of institutions protecting human rights. The main language of the study is Lithuanian (lit). Standardized questionnaire was provided for the respondents in Lithuanian (lit).
