Major investigated questions: respondents were asked how many times they have been personally affected by crime in 2005. Victims of the crimes were asked to indicate by which of the crimes and how many times they have been affected. They were also asked to indicate the offender and the circumstances of the offense, the damage suffered. Respondents were asked whether they reported the law enforcement authorities about the offence and whether they were recognized as victims. All respondents were asked whether they feel safe form the offenses in Lithuania and what is the main factor influencing their sense of security or insecurity. Socio-demographic characteristics: gender, age, education, employment, occupation, marital status, nationality, number of family members, monthly family income per one family member, place of residence, size of the place of residence, region.SPSS, 29The series "Survey Data > Human Rights" contains survey data that allow to study Lithuanian public opinion about the state of the human rights protection system, the ways in which people defend their rights when violated, and their evaluations of the effectiveness of institutions protecting human rights. The main language of the study is Lithuanian (lit). Standardized questionnaire was provided for the respondents in Lithuanian (lit).
