Lithuania's society attitude towards history and information sources of the past, evaluation of historical periods and historical event in Lithuania, to reveal relations of historical consciousness, historical memory and national identity.
&lt;br>
&lt;b>&lt;i>Major investigated questions&lt;/i>&lt;/b>: respondents were asked what history is and which historical events are the most important to modern society. Attitude towards christening, national revival, interwar Lithuania and Soviet period. It was questioned why the Grand Duchy of Lithuania collapsed. Respondents were asked how they value partisans battles. After question block was presented, respondents were asked what history means to them personally. Respondents were asked to assess if they trust different information sources of the past and which of them are interesting. Statements about different past periods of Lithuania were presented and it was asked to what extent respondents are interested in them. It was questioned what history is interesting for respondents and whose history interests them. It was analysed if interviewed Lithuanian residents are interested in history of ethnic residents group of Lithuania. Respondents were asked what manner of history presentation they like. Attitude towards Holocaust in Lithuania and demand that Russia should repay occupation damage was analysed. Further, respondents were asked what position about relics of Soviet past they support. It was questioned what is respondents opinion about publicly announced surnames of KGB regular and reserve officers, and secret contributors who did not confess. Respondents were asked what past event and individual are memorable for them, and what objects should be preserved. It was questioned which objects of cultural or historical heritage respondents visited in the past 12 months in Lithuania. It was aimed to determine relation of historical consciousness and national thinking which was measured by asking if respondents identify themselves with different groups, if they are proud to be citizens of Lithuania and what relations of their child with Lithuania they consider to be very important.
