It was examined what the forest means to respondents (Biological diversity (habitats of plants and animals); Spiritual values, aesthetics, beauty; 11 in total). Respondents were asked what share of Lithuania’s forests, in their opinion, allows commercial forestry aimed at timber production, and what share of forests in protected areas, in their opinion, allows commercial forestry aimed at timber production. It was also examined to what extent respondents agree or disagree with the statement that the area of recreational forests in state forests should be increased, even if this would reduce budget revenues obtained from forests. Finally, it was examined to what extent respondents agree or disagree with the statement that the area of forests designated for nature protection in state forests should be increased, even if this would reduce budget revenues obtained from forests. <br> <b><i>Socio-demographic characteristics</i></b>: gender, age, nationality, education, income per household member per month, occupation, household size, marital status, place of residence, municipality.SPSS, 29The series contains survey data that allow to study environmental attitudes, environmental values, environmentally significant behaviours of different populations, as well as climate change perceptions, climate change attitudes, climate change behaviours, energy attitudes, energy technology acceptance, environmental knowledge and environmental education, education for sustainable development, and elements of environmental citizenship.<p> The main language of the study is Lithuanian (lit). </p> <p> Standardized questionnaire was provided for the respondents in Lithuanian (lit). </p>Vilnius, LithuaniaEnvironmental Coalition
