The study examined the principles of operation and values guiding LRT in the implementation of its mission. Respondents were asked to assess the quality of the functions performed by LRT and the programs it broadcasts. They were also asked what principles guide LRT public information producers, disseminators, journalists, and publishers in their work. Questions were posed as to whether respondents would support the broadcasting of commercial advertising on LRT and whether advertising should be prohibited. Respondents were asked whether LRT provides sufficient information on the state’s social, economic, political, and law enforcement issues and their solutions, as well as on legislation. The study sought to find out what types of programs (or their duration) should be increased on LRT.
