Respondents were asked to which type they appointed this days Lithuanian society and what Lithuanian should be - which type they would choose. It was analysed how should the state act if it should choose between tax reduction or spend more on social security and inflation reduction or unemployment reduction. Respondents were asked how safe they personally feel in case of retirement, illness, loss of work, divorce or break up with partner, longterm physical or mental disability and child birth. Respondents were asked to assess how many state objectives in assuring society's well-being in Lithuanian are achieved or unachieved based on the list of objectives in social policy of Lithuania gathered form various political documents. First, respondents were asked how they evaluate state efforts in seeking objectives in labour market and employment areas. Next question block to reveal how state is doing in achieving objectives in social equity and social security areas was presented. Respondents were asked how in their opinion state is doing in achieving its objectives in family policy and child-rearing areas. Next, situation in educational area was assessed. Question block about state achievements in natural and living environment areas was presented. At the interview, satisfaction with social security system in Lithuanian in general was assessed. Respondents were asked if it is better to save retirement pension in "Sodra" or in private funds by paying deposits. Respondents were asked how they participate in pension saving system. Respondents were asked if they would use an opportunity to decline pension saving in private funds and start saving in "Sodra" if conditions in pension saving participation would change. Opinion about situation of ethnic minorities in Lithuania was analysed. Respondents were asked if they are planning to go to work or live abroad for longer than 6 months and if they would agree that Lithuania would let in all immigrants without huge restrictions. It was analysed if the state should fund assisted reproduction. It was questioned if respondents would agree with authorization to freeze embryos and later use them in assisted reproduction. Further, respondents were asked about possibilities of changing the appearance of unborn child - to decide on future child's height, colour of skin, hair and eyes, gender and other physical characteristics using newest technologies. Respondents were asked about current economic situation in Lithuania and material situation of respondents family. Respondents were asked how they envision economic situation in Lithuania and their family's material situation after a year. <br> <b><i>Socio-demographic characteristics</i></b>: gender, age, duration of education, education, employment status of the respondent and his / her husband / wife / permanent partner, profession (occupation), respondent's trade union membership, religion, participation in religious rites, political views, political and social activism, voting in the last Seimas elections, nationality, household size, respondent's average and total average monthly household income, marital status, place of residence, satisfaction with quality of life, change in living conditions, received social benefits, received financial support from abroad living relatives.SPSS, 25<p>Dataverse collection “Monitoring of Social Problems” contains surveys studying public opinion about social policy and social issues. </p><p> The main language of the study is Lithuanian (lit). </p> <p> Standardized questionnaire was provided for the respondents in Lithuanian (lit). </p> <p> Dataset (data and metadata) “Social Policy II, November - December 2011” from 2012-01-03 to 2021-10-01 was available in the portal of Lithuanian Data Archive for Humanities and Social Sciences (LiDA) www.lidata.eu; object PID: www.lidata.eu/data/quant/LiDA_SPS_0239.
