multiple stakeholders in the formal educational institutions evaluate the current organization of knowledge in disciplines in Finland, Italy, Lithuania and the United Kingdom. The dataset contains transcripts of interviews with experts from RPOs (researcher associations in STEM fields, science education, HEI governance), RFOs, school and university government, secondary schools teachers, private companies. In total, 30 interviews have been collected in 4 project countries. The interviews generate knowledge on: (i) how multiple stakeholders evaluate the current organization of knowledge in disciplines in the formal education institutions (universities and schools); (ii) what potential and limits they see when preparing the young to face the societal changes (what skills are formed; what new skills are needed to grapple with the contemporary challenges which science education should form; what “old” skills the young are losing; etc.); (iii) if and how the current organization is diversity-responsive; (iv) what new forms of knowledge organization experts expect and what barriers in their implementation they perceive and anticipate. The data set can be used for multiple rounds of analysis or by other users interested in the themes and dynamics that characterize knowledge organization in science education. Dataset "FEDORA. Limits and Potential of the Current Organization of Knowledge in Disciplines: Interviews in Finland, Italy, Lithuania and the United Kingdom, 2022" was published implementing project "Future-oriented Science Education to enhance Responsibility and Engagement in the society of acceleration and uncertainty" from 2020 to 2023. Data will be made available without restrictions from 2026-12-31.</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="lt-LT">Santrauka: Tyrimo tikslas: sukaupti žinių apie tai, kaip įvairios formaliojo švietimo institucijų suinteresuotosios šalys vertina dabartinį žinių organizavimą disciplinomis Suomijoje, Italijoje, Lietuvoje ir Jungtinėje Karalystėje. Duomenų rinkinį sudaro interviu su ekspertais iš STEM sričių mokslininkų asociacijų, mokslo švietimo, aukštųjų mokyklų valdymo, mokslą finansuojančių institucijų, mokyklų ir universitetų valdymo institucijų, vidurinių mokyklų ir privačių įmonių. Iš viso surinkta 30 interviu 4 projekto šalyse. Interviu metu gauta žinių apie: (i) kaip įvairios suinteresuotosios šalys vertina esamą žinių organizavimą disciplinomis formaliojo švietimo institucijose (universitetuose ir mokyklose); (ii) kokias įžvelgia galimybes ir apribojimus rengiant jaunimą visuomenės pokyčiams (kokie įgūdžiai formuojami; kokie nauji įgūdžiai reikalingi šiuolaikiniams iššūkiams spręsti, kuriuos turėtų formuoti mokslinis ugdymas; kokius "senus" įgūdžius jaunimas praranda ir t. t.); (iii) ar ir kaip esamas žinių organizavimas atliepia visuomenės įvairovę ir jos lūkesčius; (iv) kokių naujų žinių organizavimo formų ekspertai tikisi ir kokias jų įgyvendinimo kliūtis įžvelgia ir numato. Duomenų rinkinys gali būti naudojamas keliems analizės etapams arba kitų naudotojų, besidominčių panašiomis temomis ir žinių organizavimo moksliniame ugdyme dinamika. Duomenų rinkinys "FEDORA.
