Dataverse collection Project Digital Transformation of Education (2022–2024) hosts data collected in the research project "Digital Transformation of Education ("EdTech")", which was conducted by a team of researchers from the Kaunas University of Technology between 2022 and 2024. This research was funded by the European Union's Economic Recovery and Resilience Instrument "NextGenerationEU" as part of the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan "Next Generation Lithuania" (10-004-P-0001). Project leaders – dr. Ramūnas Kubiliūnas and Agnė Valatkienė.

The aim of the project – to increase the efficiency of the education system and the quality of learning outcomes through educational technology and innovation.

Project activities:

  • Introducing state-of-the-art educational technologies in the education sector, enabling the development and testing of digital educational innovations (EdTech Innovation Development and Testing Platform), and strengthening the digital competences of educators.
  • Developing technological solutions and the necessary digital teaching and learning resources in educational institutions (digital content) to enable personalised distance learning beyond the pandemic.

The project will strengthen the digital competences of KTU lecturers by applying the latest training programmes in line with EU practices, encouraging teachers to strengthen their digital competences during training or to acquire additional qualifications. At the end of the training, the upgrading teachers will develop digital teaching materials.

Students will acquire knowledge and skills relevant to a teacher of informatics and the ability to apply them to develop students’ computational thinking and digital literacy, and to stimulate students’ interest in digital technologies. Modern methodologies in the subject of informatics and virtual teaching(s) will be acquired. Practical skills in digital content creation, programming, data exploration, technological problem solving, communication and collaboration through virtual means are acquired. An understanding of safe behaviour and security requirements in the use of information technology.


Dataverse kolekcijoje Projektas Skaitmeninė švietimo transformacija (2022–2024 m.) publikuojami Kauno technologijos universiteto tyrėjų 2022–2024 įgyvendinto projekto „Skaitmeninė švietimo transformacija (“EdTech”)“ duomenys. Projektas vykdytas kaip Europos Sąjungos ekonomikos gaivinimo ir atsparumo didinimo priemonės „NextGenerationEU“ finansuojamos ekonomikos gaivinimo ir atsparumo didinimo plano „Naujos kartos Lietuva“ dalis (10-004-P-0001). Projekto vadovai – dr. Ramūnas Kubiliūnas and Agnė Valatkienė.

Projekto tikslas – pasitelkiant švietimo technologijas ir inovacijas, didinti švietimo sistemos efektyvumą ir mokymosi rezultatų kokybę.

Projekto veiklos:

  • Naujausių edukacinių technologijų švietimo sektoriuje diegimas, sudarant sąlygas skaitmeninėms švietimo inovacijoms kurtis ir išbandyti (EdTech inovacijų kūrimo ir išbandymo platforma) ir stiprinant pedagogų skaitmenines kompetencijas.
  • Technologinių sprendimų, reikiamų skaitmeninių mokymo, studijų išteklių švietimo įstaigose sukūrimas (skaitmeninis turinys), siekiant įgalinti personalizuotą nuotolinį mokymą ne tik pandemijos sąlygomis.

Projekte bus stiprinamos KTU dėstytojų skaitmeninės kompetencijos, taikant naujausias ES praktikas atitinkančias mokymų programas, skatinant mokytojus stiprinti skaitmenines kompetencijas mokymų metu ar įgyti papildomą kvalifikaciją. Pasibaigus mokymams kvalifikaciją tobulinantys dėstytojai parengs skaitmeninę mokymo medžiagą.

Studentai įgis informatikos mokytojui aktualių žinių ir įgūdžių bei gebėjimą juos taikyti ugdant mokinių informatinį mąstymą ir skaitmeninį raštingumą, skatinant mokinių domėjimąsi skaitmeninėmis technologijomis. Įsisavinamos šiuolaikinės informatikos dalyko ir virtualiojo mokymo(si) metodikos. Įgyjami praktiniai skaitmeninio turinio kūrimo, programavimo, duomenų tyrybos, technologinių problemų sprendimo, komunikavimo ir bendradarbiavimo virtualiosiomis priemonėmis gebėjimai. Įgyjamas saugaus elgesio ir saugumo reikalavimų, naudojant informacines technologijas, supratimas.
